Sadadeen Visual Art Flourishes in 2023: A Year of Innovation and Achievement
In a dynamic collaboration, Mrs Rice and Ms Nou teamed up during Semester 2, igniting a transformative journey in Visual Arts at Sadadeen. The Art Room became an oasis of creativity and experimentation, yielding stunning outcomes.
Focused on honing observation and technical skills, Year 9 & 10 students embraced the grid approach, ensuring precision in their drawings. The result? Spectacular, intricately detailed artworks.
Students pushed boundaries and explored new mediums—pastels, watercolours, and face painting. Kudos to our volunteers for a standout face-painting stall at the College Fete!
Year 11 delved into self-expression, Harmony, Music in Art, and Daily Life. Exploring personal and cultural identities, their art became a canvas of individuality.
Year 12 challenged norms: Macey's heritage-inspired dot landscape and Kaleisha's realism in clay showcased artistic daring. Jameson's printmaking shared expertise, enhancing Traeger Campus.
The College Concert showcased a vibrant display of talent, celebrating the courage and creativity of all students. Kudos to our OLSH Visual Artists!
