Alice Springs Town Council are excited to announce an additional two after-school programs for young people commencing the week of May 13 until the end of term 2. Please see flyer attached and additional information on the sessions below:

• Footy and Softball with Blakdoll Sports – join the Blakdoll Sports Role models for Monday afternoon sports including footy and softball at Jim McConville Oval. Come along, have fun and enjoy a healthy feed! No sporting experience necessary and open to all young people
• Youth Zone at Alice Plaza Featuring Hip Hop Dance Workshops with Rhys De La Cruz – Come and hang out with us at our brand new Youth zone at Alice Plaza from 3-6pm on Thursdays. While you’re there join Rhys for a hip hop dance workshop. Rhys is a hip hop artist from QLD and NT, with family ties in Broome, Arnhem Land and The Torres Strait Islands who loves to infuse cultural dance with hip hop dance making it his own. If you are looking to learn something new come through to Rhys’ class to learn or practice Bboy/Bgirl(breaking) classes, Afro Dancehall and popping and locking dance styles. Open to all young people, strictly no pressure and no judgement!
